Board of Directors Meeting – 11312 Baumler Place, 7:00 PM, April 13, 2015.

The 2015 Annual Meeting for Glenmary East Sections 1 & 2 is scheduled for April 16, 2015 at 7 p.m. It is to be held at the Glenmary Country Club, located at 10200 Glenmary Farm Dr. Six board members will be up for re-election. This is your opportunity to be a candidate for a seat on the GEHOA Board Of Directors.

All Class A lot-owners (defined as lot-owners in good standing with all dues and assessments paid) desiring to be a candidate for board membership must submit their names for nomination by writing the secretary, Sharon McDermott, 11308 Baumler Place, 40291, or email: macnsam@bellsouth.net or by nomination from the floor.

The six candidates receiving the greatest number of votes shall fill the six board seats. Also to be discussed will be revisions to the covenant articles. Revisions will be explained and then those Class A lot-owners in good standing will be allowed to vote for or against accepting the revisions.

Due to the two major snow events that caused slow and missed deliveries by the U.S. Postal Service, the Board of Directors have decided to grant a grace period from March 16, 2015 through March 31, 2015 to accept HOA dues without being charged a late fee.

Some United States of America flags have been donated to the Community for the entrance for patriotic support on occasions.  We thank Pete Flood for the contribution and we will be proud to display our flags.  These flags will be displayed on the appropriate holidays.

We are now into the summer months when school is out.  Remind your visitors to watch their speed when coming to the neighborhood.  Please remind your children to look both ways when crossing our streets.

Summer is a nice time of the year to let your pets get some exercise; but remember, there is a leash law on the city ordinance and on our Covenant.

If there is any news that you want posted on this bulletin board, contact one of the board members and it will be done. No advertisements please.

 

We are at party season with the ballgames and yard parties; so please remember these streets are not that wide and parking on both sides of the street can be hazardous for emergency and Fire trucks  to pass through without harming the parked vehicles.  We have been told that the needed service equipment will come through; cars or no cars, per Metro and 911.

Enjoy the games and parties, but be safety conscious also.
